NORTON RANCH HOMES
We know that your fence is important and choosing the right fencing for your new home is a big decision! We have various options available for you to choose from and there's a lot of information here to guide you in the right direction and help you make the best decision for your property and for your lifestyle.
See below for instructions on how to get started, what the guidelines are and who to get in touch with to get an approval on your fencing of choice! If you have any questions along the way, please contact us! We are here to help you!
BEFORE YOU BEGIN!
GET YOUR SITE PLAN
Before a fence is installed on your property, please contact the Norton Ranch Homeowners' Association by email to request a copy of your site plan at HOA@nortonranchhomes.com.
MARK THE LOCATION
Once you receive your site plan from the Norton Ranch Homeowners' Association, please mark the location of the proposed fence. Draw it right there on the site plan and include any proposed gate locations. You will need to reference the Norton Ranch Homes Fence Guidelines. To view or download these, please click HERE.
Once you have your location mapped out and you've read the Guidelines, it's time to choose your material. You've only got two options here --------- Cedar or Vinyl. If you would like to see the exact stain color of the cedar, click HERE. If you would like to learn more about our Vinyl fencing, please click HERE.
Now it is time to choose if you prefer open fencing or closed fencing. If you would like to see an example of an open wooden fence, please click HERE. If you would like to see an example of a closed wooden fence, please click HERE. When you are making your selections, make sure you're jotting these down to send in with your site plan!
CHOOSE THE HEIGHT
This is the last decision you'll need to make before you submit! How high would you like your fence to be? Going with the trend here, you have two options: 4FT or 6FT. Once you have selected your preferred height, it is time to submit! See below for final instructions and some helpful tips!
SUBMIT FOR APPROVAL
Congratulations --- it is time to submit your selections for approval! All requests must be sent via email, so please put all of the above information together and send it to HOA@nortonranchhomes.com. Once your request has been received, the Design review Committee will process your submittal and respond to you as quickly as possible!
& ADVISORY NOTES
Homes that have alley-access, border common areas or located on a corner have specific requirements, explained in the Design Guidelines. To view or download this document for reference, click HERE.
Fences cannot extend beyond the front of the home.
If the proposed fence encloses a gas or electric meter, please install a gate for service access.
